Olivia L. Grossnickle, 12, of Corning passed away from life on Sunday, March 22, 2015 after an ATV accident.

She was born to Timothy and Marsha Wessel Grossnickle on February 16, 2003 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. She attended Centralia Grade School and was in the 6th Grade.

She was full of life and enjoyed life; she loved animals, especially horses, and often prayed for them, wanting to be a Veterinarian. She had strong faith. She was passionate about swimming, camping, snow skiing, softball, soccer and shopping. She was very social and loved visiting with her friends.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Corning.

She is survived by her parents, her brother, Brody of the home, maternal grandparents, Frank and Cheryl Wessel of Axtell, paternal grandparents, Ron and Lora Lea Grossnickle of Corning, and maternal great grandmother, Georgann Rottinghaus of Baileyville.

She was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfather, Wilbert Rottinghaus and Albert and Lucille Wessel; paternal great-grandparents, Glen and Kathleen Grossnickle and Steve and Mary Trelut.

Rosaries will be prayed Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 2 and 7 PM at St. Patrick’s Church in Corning. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 PM on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Corning. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery in Corning, Kansas.
