Terry L. Stallbaumer

Terry L. Stallbaumer, 58, of Omaha, NE, formerly of Seneca, KS, died Sunday, July 29, 2007 at his home.

Terry was born on February 24, 1949, at Seneca the son of Suitbert and Elizabeth Hutfles Stallbaumer. He graduated from Corning High School in 1967. Shortly after school, in 1968 he entered the U.S. Air Force. During his 26 years in the military he served in Vietnam, Korea and was stationed at Scott AFB in Illinois; Forbes AFB in Topeka; Hollomon AFB in New Mexico; Crete in Greece; Vandenberg AFB in California; Bergstrom AFB in Texas; Raf Upper Heyford, England; Guam; McGuire AFB in New Jersey; and lastly at Offutt AFB in Nebraska. He retired September 1, 1994 with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant.

On March 17, 1971, he married Patricia J. George in Carlyle, IL. She preceded him in death on April 4, 1992.

He is survived by two daughters, Kristie Gage of Bellevue, NE and Jennifer Engel of Des Moines, IA; five brothers, Ervan of Tulsa, OK, John of Hoyt, KS, Lester of Holton, KS, James of Cincinnati, OH, and Michael of Paola, KS; five sisters; Mary Ann Grollmes of Netawaka, KS, Lucille Eisenbarth, Bobbie Osterhaus, Peggy Osterhaus, all of Seneca, KS, and Janice Jenkins of Paola, KS; and five grandchildren.

A private family graveside service was held on Saturday morning, August 4, at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Seneca, KS. The Offutt Air Force Base provided pallbearers and military honors.
