Jeffrey J. "Jeff" Honeyman

Jeffrey J. “Jeff” Honeyman, 40, of Lenexa, KS, died April 1, 2003, at his home.

He was born January 24, 1963, at the Axtell Hospital in Axtell, KS, the son of Louis E. and Helen Boeckman Honeyman. He grew up in Seneca, KS, graduating from Sts. Peter & Paul Grade School and Nemaha Valley High School in 1981.

He was active in golf, bowling, and tennis during high school. He was a starting player on the Seneca American Legion Baseball Team during his eligible years.

He was employed at the Big B Grocery Store in Seneca for several years during high school and for two years afterwards. He then moved to Kansas City where he was employed by UPS in the delivery and sorting departments.

He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Seneca. He was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Union, Local #41.

Survivors are his mother, Helen Honeyman of Seneca; a sister, Vickie Pfannenstiel of Elkhorn, NE; five nephews, two nieces, a great niece; uncles, aunts, and many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis E. Honeyman, Jr. on January 2, 1991.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Thursday, April 10, at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Seneca. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rosaries will be prayed at 2 & 7 PM Wednesday at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca.

Memorials may be given for Sts. Peter & Paul School, and sent in care of the family.
