Gordon K. Johnson, 76, of Vermillion, KS, died Wednesday evening, June 9, 2010 at Life Care Center in Seneca, where he had been a resident since 2004.

Gordon was born August 2, 1933 in Vermillion, KS, the son of Joseph Henry and Florence May (Schuyler) Johnson. He graduated from 8th grade in Vermillion.

He is survived by his brother, Richard Johnson of Marion.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Donald, Henry, Austin, Phillip, Gayle, and Bob; and his sisters, Edith Schumate and Louise McAtee.

Funeral service will be 2 PM Tuesday, June 15, at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca. There will be a visitation with family for one hour before the service. Burial will be in the Vermillion Cemetery.

Memorials may be given for Life Care Center in Seneca, and sent in care of the family.
