Audrey B. Feldkamp

Audrey B. Feldkamp, 75, of Baileyville, KS, died Monday, August 15, 2011, at Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca.

Audrey was born July 17, 1936 to Lawrence and Rachel (Rettele) Deters at the family farm north of Baileyville. She attended Baileyville School and worked on the family farm. She also helped neighbors with their new born babies when needed.

On August 18, 1955 she married Milton Hasenkamp at Sacred Heart Church in Baileyville. They lived in the St. Bridget area. Milton preceded her in death on May 28, 1964. Audrey then worked in Topeka.

She married Elmer L. Feldkamp on November 11, 1965 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baileyville. Audrey and Elmer lived in Baileyville and raised their four children, Lynn, Keith, Janell and Dan. During this time she was very devoted to protecting the unborn. Audrey had many hobbies and interests during her life such as painting, playing cards, flowers, gardening and quilting; she was an excellent seamstress.

Survivors are her husband Elmer; three sons, Lynn (Rene) of Wichita, Keith (Alicia) of Sacramento, CA and Dan of Wichita; a daughter; Janell (Joe) Lilley of Spring Hill, KS; nine siblings, Gilbert Deters of Centralia, Virgil Deters of Baileyville, Paul Deters of Harveyville, Elaine Duryea of Baileyville, Rosann Huninghake of Seneca, Donald Deters of Vermillion, Larry Deters of Topeka, Mark Deters of Baileyville and Marceil Bergman of Seneca; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Elmer L. Deters; three sisters, Mary Ruhkamp, Karlene Ronnebaum, and Reva, an infant.

Rosaries will be prayed at 2 & 7 PM Friday, August 19, at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 AM Saturday, August 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baileyville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be given for Right to Life of Kansas, and sent in care of the family.
