08/31/1931 - 05/13/2024
Patricia Ann Ehrsam, 92, of Seneca, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at her daughter’s home in Seneca.
Pat was born in Clifton, Kansas on August 3, 1931, a daughter of the late Albert Charles and Jane Helen (Nault) LaFond. Pat attended Corning Grade School and High School. Pat was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Seneca, KS.
Pat married Willis Ehrsam on November 14, 1953 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Corning, KS.
Throughout her life Pat gave the gift of nursing as she followed along with her sisters Arlene and twin sister Charlene working in area hospitals and nursing homes. In 1953, after she married, she transitioned into a homemaker and mother. She cherished getting to raise her own four children. She was always a large part of each of the lives and their children’s lives. She was selfless, and always had a smile on her face, and appreciated the smallest of gestures. Pat took much pleasure in simplicity, and always made the simple things in life seem so special.
Pat is preceded death by her parents, Jane Helen (Nault) and Albert Charles LaFond; her husband, Willis; her son, Charles; and sisters, Arlene Melcher, Charlene Crevier and Mary Catherine Kay’ Dechant.

She is also survived by four grandchildren, Travis Ehrsam, Tanner Ehrsam, Randy Haven and Susie (Kyle) Nelson; three great-grandchildren, Kylie, Lainey and Kyndall; and a brother, Larry LaFond and his wife Nancy, of Haven, Kansas.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 PM on Wednesday, May 15, 2020 at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Seneca. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
