David and Dan,
You have my sympathy in the loss of your mother. Your mother was very kind to me when I was a young girl working at the Dariland. When I would see your mother in Seneca over the years she would always make a point to ask how I was doing.

Dear Dan And David
I know this is a sad time and that recent times have been tough. My first memories of Joan go back to 1966 when I often visited with all of you with Chuck. Joan had a loving relationship with Chuck . She was always pleasant, happy to see us and loving to share all of you. We shared teaching experiences and her lovely boys. I send you love and prayers for peaceful days ahead with thanks for all the loving memories that will sustain you. Love you
Dear Danny and David,
I’m so sorry for your loss. Aunt Joan always had a loving and open smile and was always so kind to me. I will miss her and I will cherish all of the nice memories. The service yesterday was truly beautiful. I hope it gave you peace. I’m so happy I was able to feel a part of it from afar during this difficult time. Love to you both.
Cousin Lisa
Dan and Dave,
Sorry for the loss of your mom. Dan, for the past several years we’ve seen each other occasionally at the church picnic, and have shared updates about parents and family. Each time I’ve returned to Seneca and drove across town, I’ve thought of Joan as I went by your family home, and wondered how she was doing. Even after all these years, and as a fellow educator, it’s still strange not to refer to your mom as “Mrs. Buser”, because of all her years in the classroom educating generations of students at Sts. Peter and Paul. My sympathies are with you both.
Hey David,
Sorry to read about your mother, just happened to do a search on you as I had a project in Seneca and you came to mind. It’s only been 50 years since you guys moved away from Mission, KS, but I still remember your mom and dad as some special people. Hope all is well with you and yours.
