Jason Lee Stallbaumer

St. Benedict, Kansas

06/24/1975 - 10/08/2021

Jason Lee Stallbaumer, 46, of St. Benedict, Kansas passed away peacefully at his home in St. Benedict, surrounded by his family.

Jason was born on June 24, 1975, in Sabetha, Kansas the son of Max and Kathy Ralston Stallbaumer.

Jason attended kindergarten at Bern Elementary School before attending   B & B Grade School, graduating from High School in 1993. He attended Manhattan Area Vo-Tech for computer repair and graduated in 1995. He later attended Kansas State University and received a degree in Kinesiology.

Jason put his degree to use at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City helping cardiac patients rehabilitate. St. Luke’s Hospital transferred Jason to Salt Lake, Utah to further his education in nuclear med technology; in 2009 he returned to Kansas City St. Luke’s Hospital.

Yearning to be home, Jason returned to Nemaha County and was employed by Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in the IT department. Most recently, he was employed at Koch and Company’s shipping department.

Jason’s hobbies were fishing, weight lifting, running and collecting baseball card. Jason earned his brown belt in martial arts.  He enjoyed watching the Chiefs and Kansas State football.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Mary Ralston and Eugene and Mary Catherine Stallbaumer; and uncles, Alan Stallbaumer and Kevin Ralston.

Jason is survived by his parents, Max and Kathy Stallbaumer of St, Benedict; siblings, Travis (Krista) Stallbaumer of Seneca and Trisha (Jarrod) Wood of Kansas City, Missouri; and nieces and nephews, Alivia, Landen, Paxton, Colin, Liam and Elsie.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 5 to 7 P.M. at the Northridge Church in Seneca. Funeral services will be held on October 16, 2021 at 10 A.M. at the Northridge Church in Seneca. The burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in St. Benedict, Kansas.

Memorials will be designated at a later date, sent in care of the family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 5 to 7 P.M. at the Northridge Church in Seneca.

Funeral services will be held on October 16, 2021 at 10 A.M. at the Northridge Church in Seneca. The burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in St. Benedict, Kansas.

    So sorry for your loss. Jason was a great childhood friend. I will never forget him. Every September in Bern at Bern days, he and I would race head to head in the bicycle races. Great memories.

    I met Jason a little over three years ago in Atchison. He was so gentle, kind, empathetic and caring. I am very saddened to learn of his passing. He was a good man.     I’m terribly sorry for your loss. I had the opportunity to get to know Jason when I moved to Salt Lake City. He was always a very warm, fun, and funny guy, and helped me to feel at home here.     I am so sorry for your loss. Jason was so kind, gentle and caring. He picked my son Shane up took him to meetings and took him to the gym. I am so grateful that he was always willing to help without any hesitation. I can not express how much patience he had with Shane and how thoughtful he was with my son.     I’m sad to hear of Jason’s passing. Jason was one of my few friends I have when I first moved out here. We did all kinds of things together. He was a Goodman and a good friend. Alot of ppl will miss Jason becuz he was very active in alot of things. We had alot of fun together and I’m sad to hear of his passing I’d like to send my condolences to his family he loved you guys alot.
