Francis Feldkamp

Goff, KS

Francis H. Feldkamp, retired farmer, who lived near Goff, passed away Wednesday, September. 8, 1971, at his home; he was 73 years of age and had lived in Nemaha County all of his life.

He was born September 28, 1897 on a farm south of Seneca, the son of Fred and Bertha Spiering Feldkamp. He grew up and farmed the Feldkamp homestead.

On January 2, 1929, he married Florence M. Koch at Sts. Peter and Paul Church at Seneca. They lived south of Seneca on the Feldkamp homestead until March of 1946, when they moved to their farm southeast of Corning.

Mr. Feldkamp was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church at Corning.

He is survived by his spouse, Florence; two sons, Donald of the home and Robert Feldkamp of Topeka; four daughters, Evelyn (Joe) Henry of Goff, Delores (Don) Holthaus of Mayetta, Marcella (James) Hunter and Shirley (Darrell) Steele both of Topeka; two brothers, Phillip Feldkamp of Corning and Gregory Feldkamp of Independence, Missouri; two sisters, Mae (Ed) Haverkamp of Corning and Ann (George) Grosdidier of Eudora; and 18 grandchildren.

Mr. Feldkamp was preceded in death by three sisters; Theresa, Agnes and Rose.

The Rosaries were prayed at the Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca. The funeral service was held Saturday morning, September 11, 1971 at St. Augustine’s Church in Fidelity. Burial was in St. Patrick’s cemetery at Corning.
