
Clarence
R. Tanner
Clarence R. Tanner, 83, of Kansas City, Kansas, died Tuesday, October
2, 2001, at East Ridge Care Home in Centralia, Kansas.
Mr. Tanner was a lifelong Kansas City,
KS resident until entering the care home in Centralia in December of
1998. He was an electrician for R.F. Fischer Electric for 52 years before
retiring in 1984. He was a member of Emerson Park Christian Church and
a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.
Survivors are two sons Rick Tanner and
John Tanner, both of Kansas City, KS; a daughter, Tina Tanner of Vallejo,
CA; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marian
Tanner; a son, Terry Tanner; and a daughter, Sharon Curry.
Funeral services were Friday, October
5, 2001 at Maple Hill Funeral Home in Kansas City, KS. The burial was
in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be given for the Alzheimer's
Association.
Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca was in charge
of local arrangements.
