Thomas Daniel Garber, 24, of Centralia, KS, died Thursday, August 3, 2000, shortly after arrival at the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca.

He was born July 1, 1976, at the Sabetha Hospital in Sabetha, KS, the son of Thomas G. and Phyllis Glissman Garber. He grew up in Oneida, KS, graduated from Nemaha Valley Grade School and from the high school in 1994. He had been employed by the Big B Grocery Store and Industrial Mill Work, both in Seneca. He had also been employed by Luckeroth Masonry in construction at Centralia.

On August 21, 1997, he married Amber Luckeroth. They lived in Seneca until December of 1999 when they moved to Centralia.

He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church at Seneca.

Survivors are his wife, Amber Garber and a daughter, Arian, both of the home in Centralia; his mother, Phyllis Glissman of Seneca; his father, Thomas G. Garber of Axtell; a brother, Jarod Garber of Seneca; his grandmothers, Georgina Glissman of Seneca and Betty Funk of Oneida.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 AM Monday at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Seneca. Burial will be in St. Bede’s Cemetery at Kelly. A prayer service will be held at 7 PM Sunday at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca.

Memorial contributions may be given for the Arian Garber Educational Fund, and sent in care of the family.
