Orletha M. Sausser Dalsing

Orletha Mary (Sausser) Dalsing, 89, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Lamar Court Assisted Living in Overland Park, Kansas.

Orletha was born on November 28, 1932, in Seneca, Kansas, to John and Leola (Swartzleonard) Sausser. She attended school in Seneca and graduated from Seneca High School in 1950. On December 31st, 1952, Orletha married her high school sweetheart, Edward Dalsing. Together they raised one daughter, Cheryl and adopted two children, Lori and Jeff.

Orletha had a passion for ceramics, crocheting, board games and family. She was well known for her compassion for others. She dedicated her life to creating memories, caring for others and will be greatly missed.

Orletha is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward, her daughter, Cheryl, her sister, Ineva Lee and her brother, John Sausser. She is survived by her sister, Lorene Miller of Leawood, Kansas; her adopted children, Lori Young and Jeff Dalsing of Missouri; her grandchildren, Stephen Stobaugh, Patrick Stobaugh, Joshua Stobaugh, and Michael Stobaugh all of Kansas City, Missouri and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 11 A.M. on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca, Kansas. The inurnment will be in the Seneca City Cemetery, next to her husband Edward.
