Annette H. Feldkamp

Seneca, KS

Annette H. Feldkamp, 48, of Seneca, KS, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in April of 1992.

She was born June 7, 1952, at Axtell, KS, the daughter of Anthony and Florence Haug Hulsing. She grew up on the family farm at Baileyville, and graduated from B&B District No. 451 High School in 1970. While she was in high school, she worked for the Friendly Diner in Seneca.

On November 11, 1972, she married Regis Feldkamp at Sacred Heart Church at Baileyville. He survives of the home in Seneca. They lived in Seneca where she was employed at the Nemaha County Treasurer’s Office from 1970 to 1974. When her children were older, she began work for CR Industries in Seneca as a finisher from 1986 until February of 1998.

She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church, St. Ann’s Altar Society, and taught CCD Classes at the church at Seneca. Her special interests were her children. She followed all their activities and took special interest in their sporting events.

Survivors besides her husband, Regis, are two sons, Kevin Feldkamp of Seneca and Kirk Feldkamp of the home; two daughters, Kim Feldkamp of Topeka, and Kristen Feldkamp of Mission, KS; her parents, Anthony and Florence Hulsing of Baileyville; three brothers, Gary, Donald, and Francis Hulsing, all of Baileyville; three sisters, Mary Doris Strathman of Seneca, Judy Stredicke of Puyallup, WA, Nancy Siess of Topeka; and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Gudenkauf on May 27, 1991.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 AM Saturday at Sts. Peter & Paul Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A rosary will be prayed at 2 PM Friday by the St. Ann’s Altar Society, with a vigil prayer service at 7 PM Friday, at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca.

Memorials may be given for The Nemaha Valley Community Hospital, Sts. Peter & Paul School, or Seneca Cable TV, and sent in care of the family.
