Oh our sweet Jeanie. She was our neighbor across the street for many years. We were new to town and she welcomed us with open arms. I didn’t know a soul and will always be thankful for her kindness. We had so much fun and just loved her. Please accept our prayers. She was one of a kind. The world could use more Jeanie’s. Sympathy to all of Jeanie’s families. She was a dear, kind person whom many will never forget. She was so loving with cards and visits to her friends. My parents, Fritz and Rita Holthaus always enjoyed Jeanie’s visits and well wishes when dad was confined to home. I enjoyed helping her in her home after Ray died. She was always a sparkle to your day when you met her. Love you Jeanie !!

I met Jeannie years ago when taking classes together to join the Catholic faith. Finding out we were both nurses left plenty to talk about over the years. She never, ever passed by me without a Jeannie smile, warm hello & hug. Always asking how everyone else was doing. She was truly a gem and a genuine sweet heart. My deepest sympathies to you all for life without Jeannie in it will never be the same.

Always thought this lady was the most beautiful and the sweetest. I can’t help but think what made her so very pretty was her kind soul.
Never knew we had the same birthday but I will be thinking of her on my next one, our next one.

I first met Jeannie when I helped at the blood mobile in Seneca. She was a “grand lady”! We “exchanged” notes the pass several years. In visiting we talked of “old times” Our love and sympathy to her family.

Travis & Trina Burdett and Family:

Keeping you all in our prayers as you travel, for your time of remembering Jean, getting together with lots of family, and your travel home! One of God’s blessings are the memories that were created while our loved one was here on earth.

God sees your tears, God hears your cry of sorrow, God feels your pain of loss, God knows your confusing thoughts. But rest on God’s promise that He is always there and He knows and understands your great loss. Psalms 147:3, “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”

Sending hugs and love from Phillips, NE. Joann and Sharon Arnold

Aunt Jean made the best fried chicken I ever ate when we worked with Uncle Johnny as his field hands in the summer. She was a wonderful person.

Jeannie was a wonderful person. She was a faithful friend and companion to my mother Millie Oenbring for many years. Mom and Jeannie had many good times together.

I also got to know Jeannie through Mom. I always enjoyed seeing her and talking with her. She was always informed and interesting to talk to.

    Dearest Burdett Family!

The Nichols family had plans to visit your mom in Seneca for the tractor parade July 24. Our moms have kept in touch all these years since your dad was our dad’s cattle buyer! We have soooo many beautiful, funny, loving memories of them (and all of you)! Please let us know your plans for a memorial; we would love to honor your dearest mom.
