
Josiah R. "Joe" Luckeroth
Josiah R. “Joe” Luckeroth, 29, of Centralia, KS, died suddenly on Saturday afternoon, November 29, 2008, at the Onaga Hospital.
He was born in Marysville, KS, on June 27, 1979 to Dean and Terri Busch Luckeroth. He attended St. Gregory Catholic School, Centralia School Grade School and Junior High, and graduated from Centralia High School in May 1998.
Joe worked as a brick layer for Luckeroth Masonry throughout high school and until his death. He played football for Centralia High School; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sports. He had a big heart and would do anything for anyone.
He is survived by his parents, Dean and Terri Luckeroth of Centralia; two brothers, Anthony Luckeroth of Peoria, AZ, and Isaiah Luckeroth of Lawrence; two sisters, Patricia Bergman of Seneca and Arian Luckeroth of Centralia; his grandparents Don and Pat Luckeroth of Seneca; and a nephew Brendon Bergman of Centralia.
He was preceded in death by his sister Amber Luckeroth on March 29, 2007, and grandparents Harvey and Norma Mandele Busch.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Tuesday, December 2, at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 AM Wednesday at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Seneca. Burial will be at St. Bede’s Cemetery in Kelly.
Memorial contributions may be given in Joe’s memory, and sent in care of the family.
