Andrew Garrett "Drew" Lindeen

Andrew Garrett "Drew" Lindeen, 11, of Topeka, KS, died Sunday, July 29, 2001, at the scene of a one car accident west of Goff.
     He was born May 8, 1990, in Topeka, the son of Kenneth L. and Sheryl Allison Lindeen. He grew up there and had completed the fourth grade at Shawnee Heights Elementary School.
Drew was active in basketball, soccer and baseball. He played the viola in his school orchestra. He loved riding bike and playing Nintendo with his friends.
     Survivors include his mother Sheryl Lindeen, of the home; his father, Kenneth Lindeen, of Topeka; and a brother, Brett Lindeen of the home; grandparents, Mary Lindeen of Seneca, KS and Lynn and Arlene Allison of Brookings, S.D.
     Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Thursday, August 2, at Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church in Topeka. The burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka.
     Memorials may be given for a fund to be later designated and sent in care of Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 4020 S.W. 6th St. Topeka, 66606.
     Lauer Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements. Newcomer Family Funeral Home was in charge of Topeka arrangements.
