M. Feldkamp
Ruby M. Feldkamp, 86, of Seneca, Kansas, died Thursday, November 14,
2002, at the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca.
She
was born February 22, 1916, at Knob Noster, Missouri, the daughter of
Ernest and Edith Brown Welch. She grew up and attended school there.
On November 23, 1931, she married Philip
E. Feldkamp at Kansas City, Kansas. They lived and farmed south of Seneca
until 1951 when they moved to Corning, Kansas. In 1980 they retired
and moved to Seneca. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary
in 1981. Her husband, Philip, died March 10, 1991.
She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul
Church and St. Ann's Altar Society at the church in Seneca. Her enjoyment
was her family, love of music, and dancing. She enjoyed being outdoors
in the summer with her yard work and flowers.
Survivors are three sons, Gary Feldkamp
and Ernest Feldkamp, both of Seneca, Gene Feldkamp of Wichita, Kansas;
four daughters, Phyllis Anderson of Persia, Iowa, Rita Glynn of Axtell,
Kansas, DoVeta Armstrong and June Boydston both of Centralia, KS; a
brother, Jewell Welch of Raytown, MO; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren;
and three great-great grandchildren.
Besides her husband, Philip, she was preceded
in death by a grandson Leroy Glynn, a great-grandson, J.J. Anderson,
and a brother, Kenny Welch.
The mass of Christian burial will be offered
at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Seneca on Saturday, November 16 at
10:30 A.M. The burial will be in the church cemetery. The rosary will
be prayed by St. Ann's Altar Society at 2 P.M. and a vigil prayer service
will be conducted at 7 P.M on Friday at the Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca.
