Barbara L. Feldkamp

Barbara Lee Feldkamp, 82, of Mabelvale, AR, formally of Seneca died Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Bryant Rehab Hospital in Benton, AR.
     Barbara was born April 5, 1925 in Horton, KS, the daughter of Glenn and Mildred Warner Jones. She grew up there, and attended schools in the area. After school, she worked for Gilbert Car dealership in Sabetha and later for Nemaha Valley Motors as an accountant. She had won an award for her bookkeeping skills. Barbara also worked at the Log Cabin Cafe as a waitress.
      On September 2, 1959, she married Gary B. Feldkamp in Minnesota. The couple enjoyed 47 years of marriage before Gary preceded her in death on September 20, 2006.
       She was a member of the Methodist Church. She loved to travel and often would just drive to see the country.
       She is survived by her son, Wayne Baker; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
        Besides her husband Gary she was preceded in death by a son, Harry Bolen; a brother, Robert Jones; and a sister, Betty Callister.
        Graveside services for Barbara will be held at 2 pm Friday, February 29, 2008 at the Seneca City Cemetery. Family and friends will meet an hour prior at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca.
