C. Enneking
Ronald C. Enneking,
66, Meridan, KS, died suddenly Tuesday, October 28, 2003, at his
home in Rockport, TX. He had been a winter Texan for the past
three years.
He
was born April 2, 1937, in Seneca, the son of Henry and Mary Rethman
Enneking. He graduated from Sts.
Peter & Paul High School in 1955.
He worked several jobs in Seneca before being inducted into the U.S.
Army on December 2, 1958. After serving in Germany he was discharged
from active duty on November 17, 1960; he then completed 4 years in
the Army Reserve. After
his active duty discharge,
he worked for Southwestern Bell and then transferred to AT&T
until he retired. He also worked for the Perry Yacht Club and the
American Legion in Meridan until his retirement in Spetember
2003.
He married Nancy Toothaker in 1957 at Lillis, KS.
They were later divorced.
Ron enjoyed restoring old
cars and entering them in car shows.
Survivors are two sons, Troy Enneking, Wichita,
KS and Tim Enneking, Topeka; a daughter, Terri Tilford, Edwardsville, KS; a brother,
Robert Enneking,
Seneca; three sisters, Jerrie Huerter and JoAnn Palmer, both of Seneca,
Virginia Roggenkamp, Blaine; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie,
in
1963.
Graveside services will be conducted at Sts. Peter & Paul
Cemetery in Seneca on Wednesday, November 5, at 2 P.M. by Rev. Jim Smith. Military
honors will be provided by the Seneca Memorial Post #7458 of the
Veterans
of Foreign Wars and the Earle W. Taylor Post #21 of the American
Legion both of Seneca.

local arrangements.
