Rose M. "Rosie"
Crevier, 68, of Seneca, KS, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at the Nemaha
Valley Community Hospital in Seneca. She had been hospitalized in Topeka
and Seneca since November of 2003 with heart disease, diabetes and other
complications.
She
was born on January 13, 1935, at her home in Seneca, the daughter of
Leo L. and Edna G. Shockey Crevier. "Rosie" had a congenital
heart problem and had many health problems throughout her lifetime.
She attended Sts. Peter & Paul School in Seneca. Following school,
she worked in a home for the disabled in Omaha, NE, for several years.
She returned to Seneca, and cared for Daisy Kerr, Adelia Zettle, and
others in their homes. She also helped take care of her parents until
they preceded her in death. Due to her own failing health, she entered
Countryview Estates Care Home in Seneca in 1999.
She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul
Church, the St. Ann's Altar Society at the church, and the Loyal Christian
Benevolent Association.
Survivors include a brother, Leo E. Crevier
of Seneca.
The mass of Christian burial will be 10:30
AM Saturday, March 29, at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Seneca. The
burial will be in the church cemetery. The rosary will be prayed at
7 P.M. Friday at the Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca where she will
lie in state after 8:30 A.M. Friday.
Memorials may be given for Sts. Peter
& Paul School and sent in care of the family.
